Meet the designer
RUCHI New York is a luxury fine jewelry house that specializes in creating unique and versatile pieces that are exquisitely handmade and have an heirloom quality to them. It's aesthetic is defined by colorful gemstones and diamonds set in artistic designs that are as diverse as its clientele.
At the heart and helm of the house is Ruchi herself, an inherent creative force fueled by her love of travel and nature. Her family’s historic gem business gave Ruchi access to some of the world’s most remarkable and exotic stones, which is the foundation for Ruchi New York launched in 2018.Since then, the brand has adorned several red carpet events from the Oscars to Emmys and has been patronized by countless A-list celebrities in the likes of Oprah Winfrey, First Lady Dr. Biden, Jennifer Coolidge, Sarah Jessica Parker and many more.
As an entrepreneur and mother, Ruchi is committed to women’s financial empowerment through partnering with charities that support women from underprivileged backgrounds.
Ruchi's creative spirit is fueled by her innate curiosity and love of travel and nature. Rather than adhere to a singular style, the designer plays with colorful gems and diamonds in a painterly way creating a range of styles and themes as diverse as her clientele. A family trip to California’s Anza Borrego Desert State Park inspired dreamy floral jewels in a rainbow of pastel colored gems and a visit to the tropical rainforest gave way to vibrant and fluid emerald and ruby designs.
Ruchi is continuously exploring and creating new ways to portray precious stones in stylish designs that allow women to express their individuality and tell their own stories.
Social Mission
As an entrepreneur and mother, Ruchi is committed to women’s financial empowerment. During her years growing up in India, Ruchi witnessed firsthand the inequitable treatment of underprivileged women and she works tirelessly to support women’s empowerment in her native country and around the world. The company partners with several charities to support women by helping them access small loans and establish businesses. Ruchi is also actively involved in educating women and children in the developing nations.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Ruchi personally selects gems from the world’s premiere mines and dealers. Each diamond is chosen for its exceptional quality and unique character from ethically sourced mines.
The jewels are cut and polished in Ruchi’s workshops where generations of master stone cutters and craftsmen bring out the inherent beauty and brilliance of each stone, and artisans set the gems and diamonds in elegantly fluid designs.
Ethics and Commitment
RUCHI New York strictly adheres to the Kimberly Process established in 2003 by UN General Assembly to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the mainstream rough diamond.
We work with suppliers who offer fair pay, safe working conditions, respect local indigenous people and protect the environment. All RUCHI New York pieces are made with conflict-free gold and conflict-free diamonds in our pieces.
